FAQ & Race Policies
Where do I go to get my bib number and premium?
Bib pickup is available on Saturday, November 3 from 10am-5pm at Fit2Run in St. Petersburg. All participants will go to the bib pickup location to get their race number and premium. Unclaimed premiums will NOT be mailed.
If you cannot pickup your bib on Saturday we will have bib pickup available on race day from 6:45a-8:45a at Albert Whitted Park.

What is the AARP member discount?
Current AARP members will receive a 35% discount off their 10K, 5K or Kids Fun Run. Enter your AARP membership number at registration checkout in order to receive the discount.
What is the address of the venue?
Albert Whitted Park is located at 480 S Bayshore Dr, St. Petersburg, FL 33708.

Street parking in the area will be limited, please refer to the transportation page for more information on parking for the event.
What is the parking situation?
Parking is available in the Mahaffey Theater garage for $10, on the street and in a few public parking lots in the area. Please keep in mind that street parking is very limited and typically limited to a maximum of 3 hours. Directions to the various public lots in the area can be found on our Travel & Accommodations page.
Is there an age requirement?
All ages are welcome to participate in the 10K and 5K.
The Kids Fun Run has two race levels open for children, 1/2 mile for ages 8-12 and 1/8 mile for children ages 7 and under. Children should be able to run the distance alone, though parents are permitted to run with their child.
Is the event timed?
The 10K and 5K runs will be the only officially timed events.
Is there a time limit?
10K participants will have 90s minutes to complete the course, while 5K participants will have one hour.
There is no time limit for the Kids Fun Run.
Are stollers allowed on the course?
Strollers are permitted on the course, however, we ask as a courtesy to other runners that if you are pushing a stroller to please start in the back of the pack.
Bicycles, roller blades, skateboards and other wheeled devices are not permitted on the race course.
Can I stay with my child during the Kids Fun Run?
Yes, parents are encouraged to participate with their children! We ask that children are able to complete the distance themselves, but parents are permitted to stay with their child.
Parents are not required to register themselves as participants in the Kids Fun Run to accompany their child – though the child does need to be registered.
When do I get my medal?
Medals are only available for 10K and 5K finishers and will be handed out at the finish line.
Will awards be given out?
Yes! Awards will be given to the top male and female overall finishers of the 5K and 10K.
Will there be food at the event?
Yes. There will be post-race snacks for runners including water, Gatorade, fruit, chips, bars, etc. There will be vendor food options available in the post-race after party.
What kinds of activities will be at the finish line party?
There will be fun and interactive games for kids, entertainment including live music, plenty of prizes and giveaways for participants, and much more!
What if I registered and can no longer participate?
If you registered and can no longer participate for any reason you may request a partial refund of up to 50% through October 4. After that date no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. Deferments and transfers are not an option for this race.
Can I transfer or defer my registration?
Unfortunately we do not offer deferments for the events and cannot transfer registration to other individuals.
